Announcement: Silicon Catalyst Japan’s Incubation Program Information Session for the Next Generation of Semiconductor and Deep-Tech Startups

Silicon Catalyst Japan (“SCJ”) will host an Information Session on its Incubation and Acceleration Program on March 17, 2026, aimed at fostering and supporting startups in the semiconductor and broader deep-tech sectors.

At the opening of the session, we are honored to welcome Mr. Tetsuro Higashi, Director and Chairman of Rapidus Corporation, as a keynote speaker.

Drawing on his leadership in the semiconductor industry over many years, as well as his experience consistently operating at the forefront of semiconductor business, Mr. Higashi will share perspectives on the strategic background behind the establishment of Rapidus, structural changes in the global semiconductor industry, and the technologies and business strategies that Rapidus will adopt to strengthen the competitiveness of Japan’s semiconductor industry.

In addition to an introduction to Silicon Catalyst, the session will provide a practical overview of global-standard incubation and acceleration frameworks, as well as the process for potential participation in future programs.
