Silicon Catalyst Signs Strategic Partnership MOU with Seoul National University’s SIPC

SEOUL, Korea - June 10, 2026 - The Silicon Catalyst, which provides incubation and acceleration for semiconductor and deep-tech startups, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for a strategic partnership with the System-IC Industry Promotion Center (SIPC) of Seoul National University to foster innovation, nurture entrepreneurship, and develop ecosystems in the semiconductor and deep-tech sectors, with the signing ceremony held today in Seoul, Korea.

Semiconductors and deep technologies form the foundation of modern industry, and this MOU aims to establish a strategic framework to support the social implementation of innovative technologies across Korea, Japan and the entire global ecosystem.

Based on this partnership, Silicon Catalyst Japan Inc. (CEO and Representative Director: Kay Enjoji; hereinafter "SCJ") will serve as an Asian hub, providing market access and business development opportunities to startups through cross-border incubation and acceleration activities. In collaboration with SIPC, SCJ will scout for promising semiconductor and deep-tech startups and connect them with the group's strategic partners, advisors, and industry stakeholders. Furthermore, both parties will work together to promote the commercialization of advanced technologies and university-led spin-outs emerging from Seoul National University and its associated ecosystem, strongly driving the development of next-generation technologies through industry-academia collaboration.

This MOU symbolizes the strong mutual intent and commitment of SCJ and SIPC to promote innovation in the semiconductor and deep-tech fields. Over the next two years, both parties will build a sustainable cooperative relationship, including the joint development of projects. Through this partnership, SCJ aims to contribute to a future where world-leading innovative semiconductor companies emerge one after another from both Japan and Korea.
